Desiray started her higher education journey working as a Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) peer mentor where she began her passion of working with students. From there she served as an admissions ambassador for three years before graduating in 2021. Throughout her year away from college before receiving her masters degree, she worked as an Americorp member program planning for college students to give back to the college community. This fueled her passion to come back to get her Master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration and upon completion of the program she started my journey at SUNY Erie as an Assistant Project Coordinator. After serving as the Assistant Project Coordinator she transitioned into a Counselor role in the Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) program.
