Clery Reports

The SUNY Erie Community College Campus Safety Report contains information and crime data compiled from Campus Safety, other Law Enforcement agencies, and other college departments. The information is reported annually to the US Department of Education as mandated by the Jeanne Clery Act. It can be accessed through the links below.

NYS Sex Offender Registration Act

Under the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act, SUNY Erie Community College is required to advise the campus community of where to find information about convicted sex offenders enrolled at the college.  When SUNY Erie receives notification from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services that a registered level 2 or level 3 sex offender is enrolled or employed at the school, the College will update this website accordingly to notify the campus community 

Spring 2024 - At this time, the SUNY Erie Community College Campus Safety is aware of one (1) Level 2 Registered Sex Offender who is currently enrolled at Erie Community College.

The College does not independently verify registration information; thus, be cautioned that the information provided on this webpage is reported to the school.  While the College attempts to include only accurate and complete information, please note that the information reported here is reflective of that provided by the DCJS.  The College makes no express or implied guarantee concerning the accuracy of this data.

Hazing

Any intentional, knowing, or reckless act committed by a person (whether individually or in concert with other persons) against another person or persons regardless of the willingness of such other person or persons to participate that:

SUNY Erie maintains a zero-tolerance hazing policy. Prevention efforts include mandatory student organization officer training, athletic team compliance briefings, new student welcome and orientation sessions, and college-wide training campaigns.

Campus Hazing Transparency Report

This report is published in accordance with the SUNY Stop Campus Hazing Act, requiring semi-annual public reporting of all verified hazing incidents involving recognized student organizations. SUNY Erie College is committed to transparency, student safety, and hazing prevention. Hazing reports may be submitted through the SUNY Erie College Safety Department, Student Code of Conduct Process, anonymous online reporting platforms, Title VI and Title IX Coordinators, Athletics, or Student Affairs. Verified incidents are those confirmed through a formal investigation.
