Registration Dates and Payment Schedule

Registration Date Tuition Due Date
Summer Session I - January 27-May 15 May 15 at 4 p.m.
Summer Session II - January 27-June 26 June 26 at 4 p.m.

In order to not be cancelled from all of your courses, a student must have been deferred by the Financial Aid Office or be paid in full by the dates above. Students that fail to pay by either being deferred or having paid in full will be cancelled from all classes immediately after the due dates above. Cancelled students that re-register will automatically be charged additional fees. Students that register after the pre-registration period that do not formally drop by the first day of class will be held liable for their registration.

Please remember that it is the student's responsibility for payment, even in instances of non-attendance, unless courses are officially dropped by the student by the published drop date. The last date for dropping courses without liability is the last day of schedule adjustment. For Summer Session I that date is May 27, and for Summer Session II that date is July 7. It is important to note that by registering for classes, the student acknowledges liability to ECC for tuition, fees and any required collection costs or legal fees as outlined in the tuition and fee section of the College Catalog.

Student Mailings

Students are responsible to notify and ensure that their mailing address is kept current on the college data files maintained by the campus Registrar's Office. Mail returned to the college as undeliverable will not be re-mailed. Returned mail will be forwarded to the office issuing the mail and will be held for 30 days, after which time it will be destroyed.

Did You Know?

A significant number of courses have been renumbered as part of the State University of New York's policies which promote student mobility, through transfer of academic credit, to other SUNY institutions. All courses should be numbered at the 100-200 levels. The Listing Reference contains both the old and new numbers which should aid students in their choice of courses.
