    Borrowing books

Currently enrolled SUNY Erie students and current SUNY Erie employees may borrow up to fifteen books at a time, for thirty (30) days, from any of the three SUNY Erie libraries.  They must use their SUNY Erie ID cards in order to do so.

Residents of Erie County, NY, including alumni, may borrow up to ten books, for thirty (30) days, from the SUNY Erie North or South Campus libraries by using picture ID and registering as a patron.

Those who work in Erie County, NY, may borrow up to ten books, for thirty (30) days, from the SUNY Erie North or South Campus libraries by using proof of employment and registering as a patron.

Current SUNY students/faculty from campuses other than SUNY Erie may borrow up to ten books, for thirty (30) days, from the SUNY Erie City, North or South Campus libraries as part of the SUNY Open Access program.  Current SUNY ID and proof of address are required.

AcademicSHARE users may borrow up to ten books, for thirty (30) days, from the SUNY Erie North, South, or City Campus libraries.

The AcademicSHARE program of the Western New York Library Resources Council allows participating member libraries and library systems to borrow and lend materials to library patrons who are in good standing. A valid ID card from the patron’s home institution allows patrons to borrow from and have on-site access to library materials at other participating WNYLRC member academic libraries.
