About This Event

Featuring national columnist, author, and journalist Roland Martin as the keynote speaker, this full day conference will bring educators, students and community leaders together to discuss the challenges related to diversity and retention in higher education. 
Attendees will learn about the changing U.S. demographics and the latest strategies for enhancing the academic success of students of color students through mentoring, involvement, civic engagement while preparing this underserved population for success in life. Proceeds from the conference will help to fund the education of students who are ineligible for other grants and scholarships. A continental breakfast, full lunch and snacks are included.
