Advanced Studies Response to Covid-19The Advanced Studies Department hopes you and your family are healthy and safe during this very stressful time. Below is important information about your Advanced Studies Class. ALL Advanced Studies courses are being offered by the high school teacher. A letter grade will be given in June on the SUNY Erie transcript for the college course taught online/remotely by the high school teacher. Please speak directly with your high school teacher about assignments, quizzes, exams and grades. Advanced Studies courses have not been cancelled, therefore tuition for the class is due.
If your family is experiencing a financial hardship during this difficult time, SUNY Erie is being very flexible with setting up a payment plan with NO Late Fees. However, please note, transcripts cannot be released until the course is paid-in-full. Please call 851-1463 to make a payment in good faith and discuss how you wish to pay moving forward or email Ashley Fohrd at firstname.lastname@example.org. To the right you will find additional information and forms, including the link for online transcript requests and directions to log into MYECC and WebAdvisor. Your username and password to access the MYECC portal and WebAdvisor (for payments and grades) can be found at myusername.ecc.edu. Please try to do your best in the Advanced Studies course during this difficult time, you’ve completed most of the work already, don’t give up now. SUNY Erie’s Advanced Studies Program is open to all high school juniors or seniors of average or better academic ability interested in beginning their college studies while still in high school. (Sophomore students may be recommended by their teacher or school counselor.)
Eligible students may apply to SUNY Erie by using the Advanced Studies Application provided to the classroom instructor by the Coordinator of the AS program. Be sure to get your application in on time. There is a deadline for each class.
